MEANING
लाल कछु कीजे भोजन तिलतिल कारी हों वारी हो।अब जाय बेठो दोऊ भैया नंदबाबाकी थारीहो ॥१॥“Lala, please eat a little; I offer myself to You again and again. Now both brothers, go and sit down to eat from Nandababa’s thali.” ॥१॥कहियतहे आज संक्रांति भलोदिन करिके सब भोग संवारीहो।तिलहीके मोदक कीने अति कोमल मुदित कहत यशुमति महतारी ॥२॥“Today is Sankranti, an auspicious day, so every kind of bhog has been beautifully prepared.” Mother Yashumati joyfully says, “I have made very soft modaks of sesame.” ॥२॥सप्त धानको मिल्यो लाडिले पापर ओर तिलवरी न्यारी।सरस मीठो नवनीत सद्य आजको तिल प्रकार कीने रुचिकारी ॥३॥“Ladile, there is a preparation made from seven grains, along with papad and special tilvari. There is delicious sweet fresh butter, and today many pleasing preparations of sesame have been made.” ॥३॥बैठे श्याम जब जेमनलागे सखन संग देदें तारी।परमानंददास तिहि औसर भर राखे यमुनोदक झारी ॥४॥When Shyam sits down to eat, His sakhas sit with Him, happily clapping their hands. Paramananddas says: at that time, a ewer (Zariji) filled with Shri Yamunaji’s water is kept ready. ॥४॥
