MEANING
मैया मोहि ऐसी दुलहनी भावे ॥ जैसी ये काहुकी डीठोनीया रूनक झुनक घर आवे ॥१॥Mother, I like such a bride, who, like this one, comes to the house with a lovely, jingling sound. ॥१ ॥कर कर पाक रसाल रसोई अपने कर ले मोही जीमावे । कर अंचल पट ओट बाबा को ठाडी ब्यार दुरावे ॥२॥She makes sweet dishes with her own hands and feeds me herself. With the edge of her cloth in her hand, she stands before father and gently waves away the breeze. ॥२ ॥मोहि उठाय गोद बैठारे कर मनुहार मनावे ॥ अहो मेरे लाल कहो बाबसों तेरो ब्याह करावे ॥३॥She lifts me up and seats me in her lap, lovingly pleasing me. “Oh, my dear child, tell me—shall I ask father to arrange your wedding?” ॥३ ॥नंदराय नंदरानी हिलमिल सुख समुद्र बढावे ॥ परमानंद प्रभुकी बातें सुन ऊर आनंद न समावे ॥४॥Nandarāy and Nandarānī, together, increase the ocean of their joy. Paramānand says: Hearing Prabhu’s words, my heart cannot contain its joy. ॥४ ॥
