MEANING
अपने लालको ब्याह करूंगी, बडे गोपकी बेटी ॥I shall marry my dear son to the daughter of a great cowherd. ॥जासो हमसों जतिया चारो भोजन भेटा भेटी ॥१॥With her, our families will have the four kinds of food and gifts exchanged between one another. ॥१ ॥मात यशोदा लाड लडावे अंग शृंगार करावे ॥Mother Yashodā lovingly dotes on Him and adorns His body.कस्तुरीको तिलक बनावे चंदन पीत चढावे ॥२॥She makes a musk tilak for Him and applies yellow sandalwood paste. ॥२ ॥कहिरी मैया कब लावेगी मोंको दुलहैया नीकी ॥“Tell me, Mother, when will You bring me a good bride?”परोस परोस के मोहि खवावे रोटी चुपरी घीकी ॥३॥“She will serve me and feed me, one by one, rotis spread with ghee.” ॥३ ॥ये सब सखा बरात चलेंगे हुंव चढुंगो घोरी ॥All these friends will go with the wedding party; I shall mount the mare.जन परमानंद पान खवावे बीरा भरभर झोरी ॥४॥Paramānand says: He will feed everyone betel leaves and fill their bags with betel nuts. ॥४ ॥
