MEANING
मैया निपटबुरो बलदाऊ ॥ कहत है वन बडोतमासो सब लरकाजुर-आऊ ॥१॥“Mother, Balram is very naughty! He says, ‘There is great fun to be seen in the forest. Come, let us gather all the boys and go!’” ॥१॥मोहूको चुचकारचलेलै जहां बहुतबनझाऊ ॥ बाँहीते कहि छाँड चले सब काठिखाउरेहाऊ ॥२॥“He coaxed me into going with them and took me to a place where the forest was thick with bushes. Then they all left me there, shouting, ‘A terrible beast will eat you!’” ॥२॥डरकांपकें उठ ठाडो भयो कोऊ न धीर धराऊ ॥ परपर गयो चल्यो नहीं जाई वे भाजेजात अगाऊ ॥३॥“I stood there trembling with fear, with no one to comfort me. I kept falling down and could hardly walk, while they all ran ahead.” ॥३॥मोसों कहत मोलको लीन्हों आप कहावत साऊ ॥ परमानंद बलरामचवाई तैसेईमिले सखाऊ ॥४॥“Balram tells me, ‘You were bought for a price, yet You claim to be their own son!’” Parmanand says that Balram teases Krishna in this way, and His friends join in too. ॥४॥
