MEANING
निर्तत रस दोऊ माई रंग ॥ सुलप संच गतिभेद ग्रस्तकिट धिकिट ध्रुमधुम धाजत मृदंग ॥१॥The two dance together, absorbed in rasa and colour. With varied movements and steps, the mridang resounds: “grastakit, dhikit, dhrum-dhum,” marking the rhythm. ॥१॥कनक वरण टिपारो सिर कमल बरन काछनी कटि वनजुधात अति विचित्र स्याम अंग ॥ गोविंद प्रभु त्रैलोक विमोहित देखत ठगे से ठाडे मोहत कोटि अनंग ॥२॥Upon His head is a golden-hued tiparo, and at His waist a lotus-coloured kachhani; the dark form is adorned in a most wondrous manner. Govind says: beholding Prabhu, who enchants the three worlds, all stand as though spellbound; His beauty surpasses millions of Manmathas. ॥२॥
