MEANING
पवित्रा पेहेरि हिंडोरें झूलें ॥Wearing the pavitra, Shyama and Shyam swing upon the swing. ॥श्यामा स्याम बराबर बैठे निरखतही समतूलें ॥१॥Shyama and Shyam sit side by side in perfect balance, and those who behold them are filled with wonder. ॥१ ॥ललितादिक झुलावत ठाडी खंभन लग अनुकूलें ॥Lalita and the other companions stand by the pillars and gently move the swing. ॥व्रजजन तहां मिल गावत नृत्यत प्रेम मगन सुध भूलें ॥२॥The people of Vraj gather there, singing and dancing, completely absorbed in loving devotion and forgetting themselves. ॥२ ॥मंदमंद घन बरखत तिहिं छिन बाम सबे सचु पावत ॥At that moment, the clouds rain gently, and everyone receives what is most pleasing. ॥कालिंदी तट यह बिधि लालन पशु पंछी सुख पावत ॥३॥In this way, on the bank of the Kalindi, the beloved Lord brings happiness to the animals and birds. ॥३ ॥वृन्दावन शोभा कहा वरनुं वेदहु पार न पावत ॥How can I describe the beauty of Vrindavan? Even the Vedas cannot reach its full extent. ॥श्रीवल्लभ पद कमल कृपातें रसिक चरन रज पावत ॥४॥By the grace of the lotus feet of Shri Vallabh, the rasika devotees receive the dust of His feet. ॥४ ॥
