आज नंदरायकें आनंद भयौ ।नाचत गोपी करत कुलाहल मंगलचार ठयौ ॥१॥Today there is great joy in Nandarai’s home. The Gopis dance and raise joyful sounds, and auspicious celebration fills the occasion. ॥१॥राती पीरी चोली पहरें नौतन झूमकसारी चोवा चंदन अंग लगाये सेंदुर माँग सँभारी ॥२॥They wear red and yellow cholis and beautiful new saris with shimmering ornaments. They apply fragrant chova and sandalwood to their bodies and carefully adorn the parting of their hair with sindur. ॥२॥माखन दूध दह्यो भरि भाजन सकल ग्वाल लै आये ।बाजत बैन पखावज महुवरि गावति गीत सुहाये ॥३॥All the Gwalas come carrying vessels filled with butter, milk, and curd. Flutes, pakhavajs, and mahuwars resound, while beautiful songs are sung. ॥३॥हरद दूब अक्षत दधि कुंकुम आँगन बाढ़ी कीच ।हँसत परस्पर प्रेम मुदित मन लागलाग भुज बीच ॥४॥Turmeric, durva grass, sacred rice, curd, and kumkum fill the courtyard in festive abundance. Laughing together with hearts joyful in love, they embrace one another again and again. ॥४॥चहुँ वेदध्वनि करत महामुनि पंच शब्द ढमढोल ।परमानंद बड्यो गोकुल में आनंद हदें कलोल ॥५॥Great sages resound the chanting of the four Vedas, while the five kinds of festive instruments thunder forth. Paramanand says: joy has risen throughout Gokul, overflowing beyond all bounds. ॥५॥✿✿✿सब ग्वाल नाचें गोपी गावै | Sab Gwal Nachen Gopi Gavaiसब ग्वाल नाचें गोपी गावै ।प्रेम मगन कछु कहत न आवै ॥१॥All the Gwalas dance and the Gopis sing. They are so absorbed in love that they can hardly speak. ॥१॥हमारे राय घर ढोटा जायौ ।सुनि सब लोक बधाये आयौ ॥२॥“A little son has been born in our Rai’s home!” Hearing the news, everyone comes to offer congratulations. ॥२॥दूध दही घृत काँवरि ढोरी ।तंदुल दूब अलंकृत रोरी ॥३॥They bring milk, curd, and ghee in vessels carried upon kanvars, along with rice, durva grass, and auspicious roli for the celebration. ॥३॥हरद दूध दधि छिरकत अंगा ।लसत पीतपट बसन सुरंगा ॥४॥They joyfully sprinkle one another with turmeric, milk, and curd. Their beautiful, colourful garments and yellow cloths shine brightly. ॥४॥ताल पखावज दुंदुभि ढोला।हसत परस्पर करत कलोला ॥५॥Cymbals, pakhavajs, dundubhis, and dhols resound. Laughing together, everyone joins in the joyful celebration. ॥५॥अजिर पंक गुलफन चढ़ि आये ।रपटत फिरत पग न ठहराये ॥६॥The courtyard has become so muddy that the festive paste reaches up to their ankles. They slip and slide about, unable to keep their feet steady. ॥६॥वारिवारि पट भूषन दीने ।लटकत फिरत महारस भीने ॥७॥Again and again, garments and ornaments are given as gifts. Adorned with them, everyone moves about immersed in the great joy of the celebration. ॥७॥सुधि न परै को काकी नारी ।हँसिहँसि देत परस्पर तारी ॥८॥In their joy, no one can even tell whose wife belongs to whom. Laughing and laughing, they clap their hands together. ॥८॥सुर विमान सब कौतिक भूले ।मुदित त्रिलोक विमोहत फूले ॥९॥The devas in their celestial vimanas are themselves lost in wonder at the sight. All three worlds rejoice, enchanted and overflowing with delight. ॥९॥
