पय पीवत करत बात सकुचत मुसिकात जात रस भरे पीय प्यारी जहाँ ऊंची चित्रसारी ॥ बरषत घन हरखत मन बीजुरी की चमक देख उपजत आनंद सदा पावस सुखकारी ॥१॥
In the lofty painted chamber, Piya and Pyari drink milk, speak together, and smile with gentle shyness, filled with joyful rasa. As the clouds rain down, the heart rejoices; seeing the flashes of lightning, delight arises, for the rainy season is always pleasing. ॥१॥
ललित बचन स्रवन सुनति उमग्यों अंग अंग मदन निरखि बदन सदन सेज बस भये गिरिधारी ॥ 'कृष्णदास' रति विलास लुटत सुख निज अवास तन मन धन प्रान तब ही सरवसु दीयो वारी ॥२॥
Hearing the graceful words, the whole being fills with joy; beholding her face, Giridhari remains there in the chamber, absorbed in the sweetness of the moment. Krishnadas says: beholding the joy of Their loving lila in Their own abode, he offers body, mind, wealth, life, and everything he has. ॥२॥

pay peevat karat baat sakuchat musikaat jaat ras bhare peey pyaaree jahaan oonchee chitrasaaree · barashat ghan harakhat man beejuree kee chamak dekh upajat aanand sadaa paavas sukhakaaree ॥1॥
lalit bachan sravan sunati umagyon ang ang madan nirakhi badan sadan sej bas bhaye giridhaaree · 'krishnadaas' rati vilaas lutat sukh nij avaas tan man dhan praan tab hee saravasu deeyo vaaree ॥2॥
