दूध पीवत मानौं घुट प्रेम की हरि हलधर बिच होड परी री ॥ परसपर दोऊ पीवत पीवावत गोपी जन मानौं मोद भरी री ॥१॥As Hari and Haladhar drink the milk, it seems as though there is a loving little contest between them, each taking sip after sip. The two drink and encourage one another to drink, while the gopis look on, filled with joy. ॥१॥नेन्हीं नेन्हीं बूंदन वरषन लागी तेसेई चमकत बीज खरी री ॥ ऐसों सुख देखति ज्यों ज्यों 'परमानंद' मानत सुफल घरी री ॥२॥Tiny raindrops begin to fall, while bright lightning flashes in the same way. Parmanand says: the more he beholds such joy, the more he considers that moment truly blessed and fulfilled. ॥२॥
