MEANING
फूग्यो फेंटा सखि ललित लाल के शिश पर निरखी छबि माधुरी अखियां सिरातरी प्रेमकी बावरी हों सखी व्हे रही सुधबुध बिसर गई द्वार व्हे जावरी ॥१॥ O sakhi, seeing the gracefully arranged headcloth upon Lal’s head, my eyes are soothed by the sweetness of His beauty. Maddened by love, O sakhi, I remain there; all awareness is forgotten, and I stand at the doorway. ॥१॥रूपके गर्व कछू आव आदर कियो बहोरो कृपालगे मुसकातरी । दास कुंभन नाथ गोवर्धनधर साथ गोपीजन रीझे मिलसांवरे गातरी ॥२॥ With some pride in His beauty, He received their welcome and regard; then, in His grace, He began to smile. Kumbhandas says: with Nath Govardhandhar, the gopis are delighted, gathering around His dark-hued form. ॥२॥
