MEANING
गोपके भेख गोपाल गायन हेटा दुगन सुख देत । शिर सुभग फेंटा सखि परच रह्यो भ्रों पर पेच पचभास ढर लागत सोहावनो । दाहेंनो ऐंठा सखि ॥१॥ In the attire of a cowherd, Gopal, walking among the cows, gives double delight. O sakhi, the beautiful headcloth upon His head spreads over His brow; its layered folds fall gracefully, with a charming twist toward the right. ॥१॥लेत आकसि चितवन चारु चलन गती गोपीजन मन बसन आनन अमेंठा सखी । धाय सन्मुख जाय दास परमानंद चाह क्षित करत यों करिये भेंटा सखि ॥२॥ His lovely glances and graceful gait draw the minds of the gopis to Him; His face, O sakhi, is captivating. Parmanand Das says: run forward and go before Him; with longing in the heart, O sakhi, this is how one should meet Him. ॥२॥
