MEANING
प्रात समै नंदलाल खेलति हो हो होरी ॥ सीस पाग जु कर हि भरै रंग बोरी ॥१॥In the morning time, Nandlal is playing Holi with cries of “Ho! Ho! Holi!” A turban is upon His head, and His hands are filled with bags of colour. ॥१॥सब नारि जुरि कैं आई नंद जु की पौरी ॥ हाथन पिचकाई लीये अबीर भरि झोटी ॥२॥All the women have gathered together and come to Nandji’s doorway. In their hands they hold pichkaris, and little bundles filled with abir. ॥२॥राधा जु खेलति खेलति साँकरी की पौरी ॥ सूरदास मदन मोहन भली बनी जोरी ॥३॥Radha is joyfully playing in the narrow doorway. Surdas says: Radha and Madan Mohan make a beautiful pair. ॥३॥
