MEANING
प्रातकाल झुलत हिंडोरे दोउ ॥अरुणनेन अति जम्हात झपकजात वारवार अलस अंग छए घूमतमन मोहे ॥१॥At daybreak, the two swing upon the hindora. Their eyes are reddish; they yawn greatly and blink again and again. Their limbs are full of languor, and as they sway, they enchant my mind. ॥१॥गंडनपर पीकलीक अधरन मस रेखबनी बिनगुन उरहार अलक लटकत सटकारी ॥कंचुकी कस छूटरही सारी मिसली सुभाल भ्रमरजाल गुंजत चहुंओर आनकारी ॥२॥On their cheeks are streaks of betel juice, and upon their lips dark lines are formed. The necklace upon the chest hangs loose, and curls hang down close by. The bodice has loosened in its tightness, and the sari has fallen into lovely disarray; swarms of bees hum on every side, adding to the beauty. ॥२॥लटपटी सुदेश पाग ढरकिरही वामभाग लटकत चहुं ओर पेच लटकत लटन्यारी ॥रसिकदास दर्पणले देखत मुख दोउजन सखी आरती सम्हार मंगलकी वारी ॥३॥The fine turban sits askew, slipping toward the left side; its folds hang on every side, and the lovely tassel hangs down. Rasikdas, taking a mirror, beholds the faces of the two, while the sakhis prepare the arati at this auspicious moment. ॥३॥
