MEANING
गढ दे बीर बढैया हिंडोरना तू गढ दे बीर बढैया ॥ ऐसो गढजामें दोऊ झुलें नवलकिशोर कन्हैया ॥१॥O brother carpenter, make the swing; O brother carpenter, make it. Make it so that both may swing upon it—Navalkishor Kanhaiya. ॥१॥अगर चंदनकें खंभ बनाये डांडी सुरंग रंगैया ॥ अबकी गढाई तोय नीकी देहों मोतिनथार भरैया ॥२॥Make the pillars of fragrant sandalwood, and make the bars beautifully coloured. For this workmanship, I shall reward you well—I shall give you a tray filled with pearls. ॥२॥मनके मनोरथ मेरे पूरिहें अतिसुख रस बिलसैया ॥ सब गोपी झुलावन आई सूरप्रभुकी लेत बलैया ॥३॥The wishes of my heart will be fulfilled as they delight in the rasa of great joy. All the gopis have come to swing them, while Sur takes away the evil eye from his Prabhu. ॥३॥
