श्यामसंग रंग भरि राजत राधिका प्यारी मानों घनदामिनी रहसि मिली ॥ पहरें पंचरंगसारी इन्द्रधनुष वनमाल मोतिनहार बग पंगति वीचरली ॥१॥Dear Radhika shines beautifully beside Shyam, filled with joyful rasa, like lightning quietly joined with a dark raincloud. She wears a five-colored sari like a rainbow; the vanamala and pearl garland appear like a row of white herons moving among the clouds. ॥१॥मंदमंद गरजत मुरली ध्वनि बाजत पियहि रिझावत मानों फूली कमलकली ॥ कृष्णदासप्रभु गिरिधर स्यामाको निरख मुख हँस आंको भर कुंजचली ॥२॥The clouds rumble softly and the flute sounds sweetly; Pyari delights Piya, appearing like a blossoming lotus-bud. Krishnadas says: beholding the face of Prabhu Giridhar Shyama, she smiled, filled her eyes with His sight, and went toward the grove. ॥२॥
