देखो भाई शोभा सामल तनकी ॥ मानो लई रसिक नंद नंदन सब गति नौतन घनकी ॥१॥Brother, behold the beauty of His dark form. It is as though rasika Nandanandan has taken on all the grace and movement of a fresh raincloud. ॥१॥तडित वसन पुरंदर धनुष मानो मालावनकी ॥ मुक्तामाल कंठ उर उपर पंगतिहें बगगनकी ॥२॥His garment shines like lightning, and His forest garland appears like Indra’s bow, the rainbow. The pearl garland upon His neck and chest appears like a row of white herons in the sky. ॥२॥रूपवारि बरषत जु निरंतर सींचतहे वृत्ति मानकी ॥ कुंभनदास प्रभु गोवर्धनधर जीवन सब ब्रज जनकी ॥३॥The rain of His beauty pours continuously, refreshing the heart and mind. Kumbhandas says: Prabhu Govardhandhar is the very life of all the people of Vraj. ॥३॥
