MEANING
सुतहि जिमावत यशोदा मैया ॥Mother Yashoda lovingly feeds her little son. सानत कोर मधुर मृदु मीठो देमुख लेत बलैया ॥१॥She prepares soft, sweet morsels, places them gently in His mouth, and fondly wards away all harm from Him. ॥१॥खेलनकों उठ उठ भाजत हें राखतहैं बोहोरैया ॥Again and again little Lala gets up and runs off to play, and lovingly she brings Him back to finish His meal.आवो चिरैया आवो खुमरैया ग्वालिन लेत बलैया ॥२॥“Come, little birdies, come, dear little ones,” the Gwalinis sweetly call, lovingly fussing over Lala. ॥२॥तुम जेवों मिल संग लालके बहुविध ख्याल खिलैया ॥“Come, you too eat along with our Lala,” they coax, keeping Him happily amused in many playful ways as they feed Him.श्रीविठ्ठलगिरिधर माताकी प्रीति कही नहिं जैया ॥३॥Shri Vitthal Giridhar says: the tender love of a mother for her child can never be fully described. ॥३॥
