आई बसंतऋतु अनुपनूत कंतमोरे ॥Spring has come, fresh and new, O my Beloved.बोलत वन कोकिला मानों कुहकुहु रस ढोरे ॥१॥The cuckoo sings in the forest, as if its “kuhu-kuhu” is pouring out sweetness. ॥१ ॥फूली वन राई जाई कुंद कुसम घोरे ॥The wild mustard, jasmine, and kunda flowers have blossomed in the forest.मदरस के माते मधुप फिरत दोरेदोरे ॥२॥Bees, intoxicated by the sweet juice of the flowers, fly from place to place. ॥२ ॥हम तुम मिलि खेलेंलाल कुंज भवन चौरे ॥Let You and I meet and play, O Lāl, in the open space before the grove.गोविंद प्रभु नंदसुवन खेलें इकठौरे ॥३॥Govind Prabhu, Nanda’s son, plays there in one place with all. ॥३ ॥
