आज ब्रज भयौ सकल आनंद ॥नंदमहर घर ढोटा जायौ पूरन परमानंद ॥१॥Today all of Vraj has become complete joy.A boy has been born in Nanda Mahar's house, complete supreme bliss. ॥1॥मंगल कलश विराजत द्वारें गावत गीत अमंद ॥नाचत तरुनी और गोप सब प्रगटे गोकुलचंद ॥२॥Auspicious kalash vessels shine at the doorway, and songs are sung without dullness.Young women and all the gopas dance; Gokulchand has appeared. ॥2॥विविध भांति बाजे बाजत हैं निगम पढ़त द्विज छंद ॥छिरकत दूध दही घृत माखन प्रफुलित मुख अरविंद ॥३॥Instruments play in various ways, and the twice-born recite Vedic verses.Milk, curd, ghee, and butter are sprinkled; lotus faces are blossoming. ॥3॥देत दान व्रजराज मगन मन फूले अंग न माई ॥देत असीस जियो जसुमतिसुत गोविंद बलि बलि जाई ॥४॥Vrajaraj gives charity, his mind absorbed; his limbs swell with joy and do not fit within themselves.They give blessings: “May Yashoda's son live”; Govind again and again offers himself. ॥4॥
