आज दिवारी मंगल चार ॥व्रजयुवति मिल मंगल गावत चोक पुरावत आंगन द्वार ॥१॥Today is Diwali, filled with auspicious joy. The young women of Vraj gather and sing auspicious songs, decorating the chauk in the courtyard and at the doorway. ॥१॥मधु मेवा पकवान मिठाई भरि भरिलीने कंचन थार ॥परमानंददासको ठाकुर पहेरे आभूषण सिंगार ॥२॥Golden platters are filled with honey, dried fruits, festive delicacies, and sweets. The Thakur of Paramananddas is beautifully adorned with ornaments and shringar. ॥२॥
