आज माई धन धोवत नंदरानी ॥ कार्तिक वदि तेरस दिन उत्तम गावत मधुरी बानी ॥१॥Today, mother, Nandrani bathes the wealth. On the excellent thirteenth day of the dark half of Kartik, she sings in a sweet voice. ॥1॥नवसत साज सिंगार अनुपम करत आप मन मानी ॥ कुंभनदास लालगिरिधर कों देखत हियो सिरानी ॥२॥She makes incomparable adornment and shringar with fresh garments, according to her own heart's wish. Kumbhandas says: seeing Lal Giridhar, the heart is cooled. ॥2॥
