MEANING
आज सखी सुखमा कन्या जाई ।भादों सुदि पाँचे शुभ लगन चंद्रभान गृह आई ॥१॥Today, sakhi, Sukhma has given birth to a daughter; on the auspicious fifth day of the bright half of Bhadon, she came to Chandrabhan's house ॥१॥नामकरनकों गर्ग पराशर नारदादि सब आये ।चंद्रावली नाम सुखसागर कोटिक चंद्र लजाये ॥२॥For the naming, Garg, Parashar, Narad, and others all came. Her name is Chandravali, an ocean of happiness, shaming millions of moons ॥२॥सुनि वृषभान नंद मिलि आये कीरति जसोदा आई ।मंगल कलश सुवासिन शिरधरि मोतिन चौक पुराई ॥३॥Hearing this, Vrishabhan and Nanda came together; Kirti and Jasoda came. Auspicious married women carried kalashas on their heads, and courtyard designs were filled with pearls ॥३॥देत दान और धरत साथिये गोपी सब हरखानी ।निगम सार जोरी गिरिधरकी व्रजपतिके मनमानी ॥४॥They gave charity and placed auspicious designs; all the gopis rejoiced. The essence of the Vedas is Giridhar's pair, pleasing the heart of the lord of Vraj ॥४॥
