MEANING
चंद्रभानके नव निधि आई ।सुखमा कूखि अवतरी कन्या घरघर बजत बधाई ॥१॥The nine treasures have come to Chandrabhan; a daughter has descended from Sukhma's womb, and congratulations resound in every house ॥१॥नाम धर्यो चंद्रावलि सुखनिधि कोटिक चंद्र लजाने।भादों सुदि पाँचें शुभवासर अरुन हृदय रस माने ॥२॥Her name was given as Chandravali, treasure of happiness, who shames millions of moons. On the auspicious fifth day of the bright half of Bhadon, hearts accepted the rasa with dawn-like joy ॥२॥सुनि वृषभान नंद मन हरखे देखि अनूपम शोभा ।कृष्णदास गिरिधर की जोरी देखत रति पति लोभा ॥३॥Hearing this, Vrishabhan and Nanda rejoiced in their hearts, seeing her incomparable beauty. Krishnadas says: seeing Giridhar's pair, even Rati's lord is filled with longing ॥३॥
