MEANING
आजबनी वृषभानकुंवरिदूती अंचलवारत तृणतोरत कहैत भलेजु भलें भामा ॥ वदनजोति कंठपोति छोटी छोटी लरमोतिन की सादाशृंगारहार कुचविच अतिशोभितहें बोरसरीदामा ॥१॥ Today Vrishabhanu’s daughter is beautifully adorned. Her companion waves the end of her garment over her, breaks a blade of grass in loving admiration, and says, “Blessed indeed are you, O beautiful one.” The radiance of her face shines; around her neck are small strings of pearls, and a simple necklace and a bor-sari garland look especially beautiful upon her. ॥१॥एकरसनां गुणअपार केसेंक वरणों विशदकी रति अंगअंग पियनमत अभिरामा ॥ गोविंदबल सखी कहें रचिपचि विरंचि कीनी स्यामरमणको माई तूहीहे श्यामा ॥२॥ You are filled with one pure rasa and boundless virtues—how can I clearly describe you? Every limb is pleasing to the Beloved. Govind says: the sakhi declares, “Brahma has fashioned you with the greatest care; O Shyama, you alone are the delight of Shyam.” ॥२॥
