MEANING
आजप्रबोधिनी शुभदिन नीको अमलपक्ष एकादशी आई ॥बहुत ईख कुंजन रचिकें सखी चहूं ओर दीपकन सुहाई ॥१॥Today is Prabodhini, a beautiful and auspicious day; Ekadashi of the bright fortnight has arrived. Sakhi, many bowers are beautifully arranged with sugarcane, and lamps shine on every side. ॥१॥घरघर गोपी चौक पूरत सब बंदनवार बंधाई ॥सिंघासन गादीतकिया धर कर उत्थापन गोकुलराई ॥२॥In every home the Gopis decorate the chauk and hang festive torans. A throne, cushions, and pillows are arranged, and Gokulrai is awakened for Utthapan. ॥२॥हरेहरे सब मेवा धरकें सामग्री सब भोग लगाई ॥चारयाम जागरण जाग निशि जागे देव गोवर्धनराई ॥३॥Fresh fruits and all the other offerings are arranged and offered as bhog. Through all four watches they keep vigil during the night, while Dev Govardhanrai remains awake. ॥३॥मंगल आरती कर व्रजसुंदरी प्रेम मगन आनंद न समाई ॥The Brajasundaris perform the auspicious arati, absorbed in love, unable to contain their joy.रसिकप्रभु मंगल निधि आनंद मंगल रूप राधा सुखदाई ॥४॥Rasik Prabhu says: Radha is the treasure of all auspiciousness and bliss, Her auspicious form bestowing happiness. ॥४॥
