आज प्रबोधिनी परम मोद कर चल प्यारी पियपे ले जाउं ॥बहुत ईख रस कुंज पुंज रच चहूं ओर दीपकन सुहाउं ॥१॥“Today is Prabodhini, bringing supreme joy. Come, Pyari, let me take You to Piya. Beautiful bowers are arranged with abundant sugarcane, and lamps shine on every side.” ॥१॥चित्रविचित्र भूमि अति चीती कर उत्थापन हरिहि जगाउं ॥ताल झांझ मृदंग शंख ध्वनि द्वारे बंदन बार बंधाउं ॥२॥“The ground is beautifully decorated with many colourful designs. Let us perform Utthapan and awaken Hari. Cymbals, jhanjh, mridang, and conches resound, while festive torans are hung at the doorway.” ॥२॥चारयाम जागरण जागिकें चारभोग अधरामृत पाउं ॥“Keeping vigil through all four watches of the night, may I offer the four bhogs and receive the blessed sweetness from His lips.रसिकप्रभुके रहसि सिंधुमें नयनन मीन झकोर न्हवाउं ॥३॥In the deep ocean of Rasik Prabhu’s joy, may my fish-like eyes bathe to their heart’s content.” ॥३॥
