MEANING
ब्यारु करत बलराम श्याम जैसी घटा श्याम सुख श्याम देखत मन । पलक ओट अकुलात आरत अत तज न सकत एको घडी पल छिन ॥१॥Balaram and Shyam are taking Their evening meal; Shyam appears like a dark raincloud, and the heart finds great joy in beholding Him. Even when He is hidden for the blink of an eye, the heart grows deeply restless and cannot bear to be without His sight for even a single moment. ॥१॥ओटभये लखलख छक छक भूरि भाग्य धन्य धन्य गोपीजन । नंददास एसे सुख ऊपर वार फेर दीजे तन मन धन ॥२॥When He comes into view again, the gopis behold Him to their hearts’ content, again and again; greatly blessed indeed are they. Nanddas says: upon such joy, one should offer body, mind, and wealth again and again. ॥२॥
