Meaning
चहुंदिश हरित भूमि वन मांह ॥ जोर मंडली जेंमन लागे बेठ कदंमकी छांह ॥१॥
On all sides, the earth in the forest is green. The whole company has sat down beneath the shade of the kadamba tree to take their meal. ॥१॥
घुमड घटा छटा दामिनिकी बरनत बरनी न जाय ॥ यह सुख श्याम तिहारे संग बिन ओर अनत कहुं नांय ॥२॥
The beauty of the massing clouds and the flashes of lightning cannot be described. O Shyam, apart from being with You, such joy is found nowhere else at all. ॥२॥
धन्य धन्य ग्वाल बाल हरि जिनके कोर लेले खांय ॥ परमानंद ब्रह्मादिक विस्मित सिर धुनि धुनि पछतांय ॥३॥
Blessed, blessed are those cowherd boys, from whose food portions Hari takes and eats. Parmanand says: Brahma and the others stand astonished, striking their heads again and again in regret. ॥३॥

chahundish harit bhoomi van maanh · jor mandalee jemman laage beth kadammakee chhaanh ॥1॥
ghumad ghataa chhataa daaminikee baranat baranee na jaay · yah sukh shyaam tihaare sang bin or anat kahun naany ॥2॥
dhany dhany gvaal baal hari jinake kor lele khaany · paramaanand brahmaadik vismit sir dhuni dhuni pachhataany ॥3॥
