MEANING
चन्द्रावली कहत नाथ राधाजूको गहो हाथ काहेको दुरावो प्यारे जगत उजियारे। करो ब्याह लाल आप मेटो त्रिविध तनके ताप हरो दुख करो सुख नेननके तारे ॥१॥Chandravali says, “O Nath, take Radhaju’s hand. Why do You hold back, O beloved light of the world? Lal, perform the wedding Yourself; remove the threefold afflictions of the body, take away sorrow, and bring joy, O star of our eyes.” ॥१॥तब ही कृष्ण अवतार कियो रास जमुनाघाट गोपिन प्रति रूप धर्यो आप प्राण प्यारे। आप द्विज तनु धार तरस रहि व्रजनार करो ब्याह बहु रूप दिखावो मेरे बारे ॥२॥Then Krishna manifested and performed the rasa on the banks of the Yamuna, Himself assuming a form for each gopi, O beloved of our lives. Now assume the form of a Brahmin; the women of Vraj are longing. Perform the wedding and reveal Your many forms for my sake. ॥२॥कासी पधारो पिय तरसे मधुमंगल हि वे गैल देख रहे पिय बूझत सब कोय। कहां रहे प्राणनाथ वेगि मिलो ग्रहो हाथ देहो जु प्राणदान प्यारे बचाय लेहो आय ॥३॥Piya has gone to Kashi, and Madhumangal too longs for Him; they keep watching the path, while everyone asks about Piya. “Where have You been, Prannath? Come quickly, meet us and take her hand. O beloved, grant the gift of life—come and save her.” ॥३॥
