दधिके मतवारे कान्ह खोलो क्यों न पलकें ॥ शिश मुकुटकी लटा छुटि और छुटि अलकें ॥१॥O Kanh, so fond of curd, why do You not open Your eyes? The strands of Your crown have loosened upon Your head, and Your curls too have come loose. ॥१॥सुरनरमुनि द्वार ठाडे दरस कारन कीलकें ॥ नासिकाको मोती सोहे बीच लाल ललकें ॥२॥The gods, men, and sages stand at the doorway, longing for Your darshan. The pearl on Your nose shines beautifully, with a red jewel gleaming in its centre. ॥२॥कटि पीतांबर मुरलीकर श्रवन कुंडल झलकें ॥ सूरदास मदनमोहन दरस देहो भलकें ॥३॥The yellow garment shines at Your waist, the flute is in Your hand, and the earrings glimmer at Your ears. Surdas says: O Madanmohan, please open Your eyes and grant darshan. ॥३॥
