MEANING
भोर भयो जागो नंदनन्द ॥ संग सखा ठाढे जगवंद ॥१॥Dawn has come; awaken, O Nandanand. Your cowherd companions are standing nearby, O Lord worshipped by the world. ॥१॥सुरभिन पय हित वत्स पिवाये ॥ पंछी यूथ दसोदिश धाये ॥२॥The calves are drinking the milk of the cows. Flocks of birds are flying in all ten directions. ॥२॥मुनि सर तके तमचर स्वरहार्ये ॥ सिथिलधनुष रतिपतिगहि डार्ये ॥३॥The sages look toward the sacred waters for their morning observances, while the night-roaming creatures lose their strength. Kamadev has put aside his loosened bow. ॥३॥निशिहीघटी रविरथ रुचिराजे ॥ चंद मलीन चकई रतिसाजे ॥४॥The night has come to an end, and the radiant chariot of the sun shines forth. The moon has grown pale, and the chakai bird rejoices at meeting her mate. ॥४॥कुमुदिनी सकुची वारिज फूले ॥ गुंजत फिरत अलिगणझूले ॥५॥The kumud flowers close, while the lotuses bloom. Swarms of bees move about, humming among the flowers. ॥५॥दरसनदेहो मुदितनरनारी ॥ सूरदास प्रभुदेवमुरारी ॥६॥Please grant darshan and bring joy to all the men and women. Surdas says: O Prabhu, O divine Murari. ॥६॥
