देख सखिरी पलना झूलत सुंदरश्याम सलौना ॥Look, sakhi, beautiful, charming Shyām is swinging in the cradle.चकई भौंरा फिरकनी लहेंटु खेलत विविध खिलौनां ॥१॥He plays with many different toys—cakāī, a spinning top, and other little toys. ॥१ ॥हाथनलई कनक पिचकाई छिरकत नंदललौना ॥Nandalāl holds a golden pichkārī in His hands and sprays the colors.अबीर गुलाल उडावत सबहिन नागर नंदनंंदौना ॥२॥He sends abīr and gulāl flying over everyone; Nanda’s charming son plays with them all. ॥२ ॥मालतिलक गोरोचन अतिछबि चितवनमें कछुटौना ॥With a mālati tilak and gorocan, His beauty is greatly enhanced, and there is a playful charm in His glance.रूप अनुप अलक घुंघरारी मृगमद आड डिठौना ॥३॥His beauty is beyond compare, His hair falls in curling locks, and a mark of musk protects Him from the evil eye. ॥३ ॥देखतरूप ठगोरीसी लागत अंग अनंग लजौना ॥Seeing His beauty, one feels completely captivated; even Ananga would feel shy before His beauty.घरमें देखे पलना झूलत बाहिर तरुन तरोना ॥४॥At home, one sees Him swinging in the cradle; outside, He appears as a young, lively boy. ॥४ ॥षटरस व्यंजन स्वाद सलोनी इनबिन सबही अलौना ॥The dishes have all six tastes and are delicious; without these, everything would be tasteless.रह्यो न परे गृहछिन मेरी आली कुंजन केलि करौना ॥५॥O sakhi, I can no longer remain even for a moment in the house; I want to go and enjoy the play in the groves. ॥५ ॥गिरिधरलाल की लीला अद्भुत मुनिजन ध्यान धरत धरमौना ॥The līlā of Giridhar Lāl is wondrous; sages remain absorbed in meditation upon Him.अतुलप्रताप अभय पददायक सो जसुमति को ये छोना ॥६॥He has incomparable glory and grants the fearless state; He is that child of Yashumatī. ॥६ ॥लोकलाज कुलकानि तज्यो में अब होनी होय सो हौना ॥I have now left aside concern for worldly honor and family customs; whatever is meant to happen, let it happen.दासनके प्रभु गोवर्धनधर सब सुख फलन फलौना ॥७॥The Lord of the Dasas, Govardhandhar, makes all the fruits of happiness come to fruition. ॥७ ॥
