देखो माई सुन्दरताको बाग ॥ हरी व्रजभूमि हरी द्रुमवेली हरी गिरिधर शिर पाग ॥१॥
Mother, behold this garden of beauty. Green is the land of Vraj, green are the trees and creepers, and green is the turban upon Giridhar’s head. ॥१॥
हरे हरे मोर हरी हरी शुकसेना भीज रहे अनुराग ॥ राजत हरी मन हरण राधिका निरख दास बडभाग ॥२॥
Green are the peacocks, and green the flocks of parrots, all drenched in the beauty of the season. Radhika, captivating the heart, shines in green; beholding this, the das considers himself greatly blessed. ॥२॥
