MEANING
धरतीजु दुलहनि मेघ दुल्हे व्याहनकों आयो ॥ इन्द्रके दमामा बाजे बूंदनको सेहरो छाजे गरज निसान आतसबाजी बरन बरन बदरा बराती लायो ॥१॥The earth has become the bride, and the clouds as bridegroom have come for the wedding. Indra’s kettledrums resound, a sehra of raindrops spreads overhead, thunder sounds like wedding-music and fireworks, and clouds of many colors have brought the wedding procession. ॥१॥कोयल गावत पपैया बजावत दादुर नृत्य नचायो ॥ सूरदास प्रभु तिहारे मिलन को आनंद मंगल गायो ॥२॥The cuckoo sings, the papiha calls, and the frogs seem to dance in celebration. Surdas sings songs of joy and auspiciousness for Your meeting, O Prabhu. ॥२॥
