MEANING
गाय खिलावन चले गोपाल ॥वागोश्वेत तासको पहेरें गोकर्णाकृति छोगालाल ॥१॥Gopal sets out to play with the cows. He wears a white garment, with a red ornament shaped like a cow’s ear. ॥१॥फरहरात पीतांबर करमें दुरिमुरि देखत सब व्रजबाल ॥धोरी धुमरि काजर पीरी गाय बुलाई टेरत ग्वाल ॥२॥His pitambar flutters as He goes, and all the children of Vraj turn again and again to gaze at Him. The Gopas call out to the cows by name—Dhori, Dhumari, Kajar, and Piri. ॥२॥जाको बछरा ताहि दिखावत अरबराय दोरी तिंही काल ॥हँसत परस्पर द्वारकेश प्रभु अति आनंदित गोप गुवाल ॥३॥Each cow is shown her own calf, and at once she eagerly runs toward it. Dwarikesh says: Prabhu and the Gopas laugh together, filled with immense joy. ॥३॥
