गोद लियें गोपाल यशोदा पूजत छठी मुदित मन प्यारी ।बड़डे वार सनेह चुचाते चूँवत मुख दै दै चुचकारी ॥१॥Yashoda, holding Gopal in her lap, worships the sixth-day rite with a joyful, loving heart; again and again she fondles Him with affection, kisses His face, and coaxes Him tenderly ॥१॥कुलदेवता मनाई सबनकूँ बरन बरन पहरावत सारी ।गोपी ग्वाल हरखि गोकुलके नाचत हँसत दै दै करतारी ॥२॥She honors the family deity and dresses everyone in saris of many colors; the gopis and gwals of Gokul rejoice, dancing, laughing, and clapping their hands ॥२॥कंचनथार आरती सजि सजि लै आई सब ब्रजकी नारी ।वारी लालपर लछीरामकों हरखि नंद दई नवनिधि टारी ॥३॥All the women of Vraj came carrying golden trays with arati beautifully arranged; Lachhiram offers himself over the dear child, and delighted Nanda gave away the nine treasures ॥३॥
