MEANING
गोप के भेख गोपाल गायन हेत दृगन सुखदेत ॥ शिर सुभग फेंटा सखी ॥ परस रह्यो भ्रों पर पेज पच भास ढर लागत सोहावनो दाहेंनो अेंरि सखी ॥१॥ Dressed as a cowherd, Gopal delights the eyes as He tends the cows. O friend, a beautiful headcloth adorns His head! Its carefully arranged folds rest close to His eyebrows, with one end falling gracefully to the right. How lovely He looks, O dear friend! ॥१॥लेत आकसि चितवन चारू चलन गती गोपिजन मन वसन आनन अमेंठा सखी ॥ धाय सनमुख जाय दास परमानंद चाह क्षित करत यों करिये भेंटा सखी ॥३॥ His sudden glances and graceful way of walking captivate the hearts of the gopis. His cloth is beautifully arranged around His face, O friend! Das Parmanand longs to run forward and meet Him face to face. O friend, may such a meeting take place! ॥३॥
