MEANING
गोवर्धन धरणी धर्यो मेरे बारे कन्हैया ॥दधि अक्षत फल फूल ले भुज पूजत मैया ॥१ ॥“My little Kanhaiya has lifted Govardhan!” Maiya takes curd, sacred rice, fruits, and flowers and lovingly worships the arm that held the mountain. ॥१॥विप्र बोल वरणी करी दीनी बहु गैया ॥ग्वाल बाल पांयन परे गोपी लेत बलैया ॥२ ॥The Brahmins are called and honoured, and many cows are given in charity. The Gwal Bal bow at His feet, while the Gopis lovingly ward away all harm from Him. ॥२॥नंद मुदित मन फूलही कीरति युग मैया ॥परमानंद व्रज राखि लियो खेलत लरकैया ॥३ ॥Nanda rejoices and his heart blossoms, while the mothers sing His glory. Paramanand says: the little child who plays before them has protected all of Vraj. ॥३॥
