Govind Girichadh Terat ·

Govind climbs the hill and calls the cows. He calls Gangi, Dhaumar, and Dhauri by name, summoning them as He plays the flute. ॥ Hearing the sound, the cows lift their heads and look toward Him, still holding grass in their mouths. Overcome with affection, they low aloud and turn back, running toward Him from every direction. ॥ Chaturbhuj says: the Lord, wearing His yellow cloth, is filled with such joy that His heart can hardly contain it. Giriraj Govardhan Rai gently wipes the dust from the faces of the cows. ॥३॥
