MEANING
छोटौसौ कन्हैया एक मुरली मधुर छोटी छोटे छोटे ग्वालबाल छोटी पाग शिरकी । छोटेसे कुंडल कान मुनिनके छूटे ध्यान छूटे पट छूटी लट छूटी अलकन की ॥१॥Little Kanhaiya, with a single small, sweet flute, little cowherd boys around Him, and a little turban upon His head. Little earrings adorn His ears; the sages lose their meditation, their garments become loosened, His locks come undone, and the curls of His hair fall loose. ॥१॥छोटीसी लकुट हाथ छोटे बच्छ लीये साथ छोटे से बनेरी कान्ह गोपी देखन आई घर घरकी । नंददास प्रभु छोटे भेदभाव मोटे मोटे खायौ है माखन शोभा देखौ ये बदनकी ॥२॥With a little stick in His hand and little calves beside Him, little Kanhaiya goes from home to home, and the gopis of every household come to see Him. Nanddas says, “The Lord is little, yet He has eaten great lumps of butter. Behold the beauty of this face!” ॥२॥
