MEANING
मोहन नयननहुते नहिं टरत ॥ विनदेखे तालावेलीसी लागत देखत मनजो हरत ॥१॥Mohan does not move away from my eyes. When I do not see Him, I become deeply restless; when I see Him, He steals away my heart. ॥१॥अशनवसन सेननकी सुध आवे अब कछू नकरत ॥ गोविंद बल इम कहत पियारी तृसिखदेरीकेसेक आवे भरत ॥२॥I no longer remain aware of food, clothing, or sleep, nor can I attend to anything else. Govind says: the beloved speaks in this way—how can this deep thirst ever be satisfied? ॥२॥
