हिंडोरें राजत रंगरंगीलो ॥ ताउपर झूलत व्रज भामिनी श्रीनंदलाल छबीलो ॥१॥The colourful, playful One shines upon the swing; upon it swing the Vraj maiden and the charming Shri Nandlal. ॥१॥शीश मुकुट ओढें पीयरोपट पियत्रिय अंबरझीने ॥ गावत राग मल्हार मुदित मन अधिक मधुर स्वर लीने ॥२॥A crown is upon His head; the Beloved and His beloved wear yellow cloth and fine garments. With joyful hearts they sing Raga Malhar, taking up exceedingly sweet notes. ॥२॥गरजे घनसे चपला चातक टेरत प्रेमहठीलो ॥ श्रीविठ्ठलगिरिधारी कृपानिधि रसिकराय रसीलो ॥३॥The clouds thunder, lightning flashes, and the chatak calls out, insistent in love. Shri Vitthal Giridhari, treasure-house of grace, is the delightful lord of rasikas, filled with rasa. ॥३॥
