जन्म फल मानत यशोदा माय ॥जब नंदलाल धूरि धूसरबपु रहत कंठ लपटाय ॥१॥Yashoda Maiya considers her birth fruitfulwhen Nandalal, His body greyed with dust, remains clinging to her neck. ॥1॥गोद बैठि गहि चिबुक मनोहर बातें कहत तुतराय ॥अति आनंद प्रेम पुलकित तन मुख चुंबत न अघाय ॥२॥Sitting in her lap, holding His charming chin, He speaks in lisping words.In great joy and love, her body thrilled, she is not satisfied even while kissing His face. ॥2॥आरति चित्त बिलोकि बदनविधु पुनिपुनि लेत बलाय ॥परमानंद मोद छिनछिन कौ मोपै कह्यो न जाय ॥३॥With an ardent heart she beholds His moonlike face and again and again wards off evil.Paramanand says: the joy of every moment cannot be told by me. ॥3॥
