कान्ह कुंवर के कर पल्लव पर मानों गोवर्धन नृत्यकरे ॥ज्यों ज्यों तान उठत मुरली में त्यों त्यों लालन अधर धरे ॥१॥Upon Kunvar Kanh’s tender, lotus-like hand, Govardhan seems to dance. As each melody rises from the Murali, Lala keeps it lovingly at His lips. ॥१॥मेघ मृदंगी मृदंग बजावत दामिनी दमक मनों दीपजरे ॥ग्वाल तालदे नीके गावें गायनके संग स्वरजु भरे ॥२॥The clouds play the mridang with their thunder, while the flashing lightning seems like shining lamps. The Gopas keep rhythm and sing beautifully, while the cows join in with their own voices. ॥२॥देत असीस सकल गोपीजन बरषाको जल अमित झरे ॥All the Gopis give their blessings, while the rain pours down without end.यह अद्भुत अवसर गिरिधरको नंददासके दुःख हरे ॥३॥Nandadas says: this wondrous sight of Giridhar takes away all sorrow. ॥३॥
