करौ कलेऊ बलराम कृष्ण तुम मिल ब्रजकी नारी सिमिट सब आई ॥Take Your morning meal, Balrām and Kṛṣṇa. All the women of Vraj have gathered together and come.चोबा चंदन अगर कुंमकुमा साज कामकी सब सज लाई ॥१॥They have brought and arranged chovā, sandalwood, agaru, kuṅkum, and all the things needed for the celebration. ॥१ ॥कछु खायो कछु धरनी गिरायो उमंग आनंद उर आनंद उर न समाय ॥Some was eaten and some was dropped on the ground; such joy and excitement arose that the heart could not contain it.सूर स्याम होरी रस पागे उठे अचवन करि बीरा खाय ॥२॥Sūr says: Shyām became filled with the joy of Holī.
