करौ कलेऊ मदन गोपाल ॥Have Your morning meal, Madan Gopāl.मधु, मेवा, पकवान, मिठाई, भरि-भरि राखे कंचनथाल ॥१॥Honey, dried fruits, cooked dishes, and sweets are filled into golden plates. ॥१ ॥माँखन, मिसिरी, सद्य-जम्यौ-दधि, औंट्यो दूध, अरु सरस मलाई ॥Butter, sugar candy, freshly set curd, thickened milk, and delicious cream,आप हु खाओ ग्वालन सँग लैकैं, पाछैं खेलौ सघन-बन जाई ॥२॥eat these Yourself, taking the cowherds along with You; afterward, go into the dense forest to play. ॥२ ॥करत कलेऊ रामकृष्ण दोऊ, औरहु संग लये सब ग्वाल ॥Both Rām and Kṛṣṇa eat their morning meal, taking all the other cowherd boys along with them.करहि बात फागु-खेलनि की, ‘कृष्णदास’ मनमोहन लाल ॥३॥They speak about playing Phāgu; Kṛṣṇadās says: O beautiful Manmohan Lāl. ॥३ ॥
