MEANING
करि हो कलेऊ बलराम कृष्ण तुम मिल ब्रज की नारी सिमिट सब आई ॥Have Your morning meal, Balrām and Kṛṣṇa; all the women of Vraj have gathered together and come.चोबा चंदन अगर कुमकुमा साज फाग कौं सब लाई ॥१॥They have brought chovā, sandalwood, agaru, kuṅkum, and everything needed for playing Phāg. ॥१ ॥कछु खायो कछु धरनि गिरायो उमंगे आनंद उर न समाई ॥Some was eaten and some fell to the ground; there was so much joy and excitement that the heart could not contain it.‘सूर स्याम’ होरी रस पागे उठे अचवन करि बीरा खाई ॥२॥‘Sūr Śyām’ became filled with the joy of Holī; He rose, rinsed His mouth, and ate betel. ॥२ ॥
