कृष्णको बीरी देत व्रजनारी॥ पानसुपारी काथो गुलाबी लोंगन कील संवारी॥१॥

A woman of Vraj offers Krishna a betel roll, prepared with betel leaf, areca nut, and rose-tinted catechu, neatly fastened with a clove. ॥१॥

व्रजनारीजो कुंजल ठाढी कंचनकीसीवारी॥ लेले बीरी करन कमलमें ठाढी करत मनुहारी॥२॥

The women of Vraj stand by the grove like a golden wall. Holding betel rolls in their lotus hands, they stand there lovingly urging him to accept them. ॥२॥

कहेत लाडले बीरी लीजे मोहन नंदकुमार ॥ परमानंदप्रभु बीरी आरोगत व्रजकें प्राण आधार ॥३॥

They say, “Beloved Mohan, son of Nanda, please accept this betel roll.” Paramanand’s Lord, the very support of Vraj’s life, partakes of the betel. ॥३॥
