MEANING
लाल के केसर भोर सुहाई ॥ शीश बन्यो है पीत दुमालो छबि निरख सुख पाई ॥१॥Lal looks beautiful in the saffron-coloured dawn. A yellow dumala adorns His head, and beholding His beauty brings great joy. ॥१॥धोती उपरना पीतरंग के उर मुक्तामणि माल ॥ कर में मुरली मुखसो बजावत इकटक रही ब्रजबाल ॥२॥His dhoti and upper cloth are yellow, and a garland of pearls and jewels adorns His chest. Holding the flute in His hand, He plays it with His lips, while the maiden of Vraj gazes at Him without blinking. ॥२॥या विधि सब सिंगार किये अति पूरी मन की आस ॥ शिव ब्रह्मादिक ध्यान न आवत गावत विष्णुदास ॥३॥Adorned in this way with every ornament, the heart's longing is completely fulfilled. Vishnudas sings that even Shiva, Brahma, and the others cannot attain Him through meditation. ॥३॥
