MEANING
लाल ओर ललनाजू बांह जोटी उठे प्रात पवनलगत कमल लपटात ॥ यह अजरज मोपें कहेत न बनि आवे दोउनको प्रतिबिंब देख दृग न समात ॥१॥At dawn, Lal and Lalanaju rise with their arms joined; as the breeze blows, they appear like lotuses gently resting together. I cannot express this wonder in words; beholding the reflection of the two, the eyes cannot take in enough of the sight. ॥१॥बागे बीर बनठन सोंधेही अरगजे एसे भीजे मधुकर तिनपें उड्यो न जात ॥ सूरदास मदनमोहन पियप्यारी पर वारत तनमन देखत नांहि अघात ॥२॥Beautifully adorned and fragrant with argaja, they are so richly scented that the bees do not wish to fly away from them. Surdas offers body and mind to Madanmohan and Piyapyari, never becoming satisfied with beholding them. ॥२॥
